A fuse cover comprises a transparent resilient cylindrical member (10) having an axially extending slot (12) therein which extends over the full length of the member. Two pairs of recesses (14) are provided in the slot (12) for engaging a pair of fuse clips (18) mounted to a circuit board (16) and holding a fuse (20) therebetween. The invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to fuses located on a printed circuit board. The purpose of the invention is to simplify the design of the casing and increase the reliability of protection of the fuse. The fuse casing presupposes a tubular element 1 having a slot 2, extending axially along its entire length, two pairs of grooves 3, which are bent or round and arranged along the slot 2. The tubular element 1 is preferably made of an elastic transparent plastic or other insulating material Figure 2 shows a printed circuit board 4 of an electrical or electronic circuit on which fuse clip-on clips 5 are located, which are spaced from each other at a distance equal to the distance between two pairs of notches 3. The fuse 6 is clamped with its caps 7 in the clamps 5. The fusible element 8 is electrically connected to the caps 7. The fusible element 8 is surrounded by a transparent element 9 made of glass or ceramic.
